Wine Market

The Wine Market captivates with its unique flair, which can be found nowhere else in Nuremberg. Special are the many individual and family-owned stores and workshops, which stand for quality and expertise. The spectrum ranges from handmade fashion and sophisticated art to culinary specialties of all kinds.

The Wine Market also has something to offer visually: To the east, the impressive view of St. Sebald’s Church; to the west the view into the Weißgerbergasse - which is Kristof and Lena’s favorite place - with its picturesque half-timbered houses. The Wine Market is framed by these scenes and offers a wide-open space where you can stroll and relax. Ever since the street has been designated a pedestrian zone, one has even more peace and quiet. The outdoor tables of the restaurants and the lovingly planted raised beds create an almost mediterranean atmosphere. Young and old, guests and locals, residents and tourists take a break on the wooden seating and fill the square with the pleasant hum of conversation.
