Speiselokal Sebald

Culinary delights in a special atmosphere

Located on the wine market in Nuremberg's Old Town, the „Speiselokal Sebald“ combines culinary tradition with modern influences. In the historic rooms that once housed the famous ‘Sebald’, the team around Abel and Henri have created a new place of enjoyment - with great attention to detail and a unique concept.

A restaurant with history and heart

The idea behind the „Speiselokal Sebald“ came about when Abel came across the wine market in his search for the perfect location. At the same time, Henri was also looking for a new challenge. With their many years of experience in the catering industry and their shared passion for innovative cuisine, they have transformed the former ‘Sebald’ into a modern, cosy living room where guests immediately feel at home.

Enjoying together - the sharing concept

At the „Speiselokal Sebald“, togetherness takes centre stage. The menu follows the sharing principle: small, sophisticated dishes that invite guests to share and give them the opportunity to discover new flavours. Freshness, quality and seasonal ingredients from the region play a central role. Whether as a couple, with friends or family - here, eating becomes a shared experience.

Why wine market?

The wine market is the perfect location for the „Speiselokal Sebald“ - a lively neighbourhood with a special flair that brings locals and visitors together. Not only is excellent food served here, but also a place that awakens old memories and creates new ones. Anyone looking for a special culinary experience will find it here.
