At St. Lawrence Square

The way to this neighborhood can be found without the internet or a city map, because it is located next to one of the most striking sights in the city: The Church of St. Lawrence, which gives the area its name. Surrounding St. Lawrence Square, you’ll find other impressive historical structures, such as the Nassauer House and the Fountain of the Virtues. The ruins of St. Catherine’s Church are steeped in history: It was once the setting of the competition of the famous Nuremberg Meistersinger and today offers a one-of-a-kind concert atmosphere.
