The Liebesinsel (Love Island) isn’t really an island, but the eastern most part of the Trödelmarkt. It will give you some island feeling, as the Pegnitz River is divided there into two parts.The green lawn on the island, which is one oft he most romatic places in Nuremerg, invites you to sit, relax or have a picnic. The nearby Fleischbrücke – Butcher’s Bridge – offers you a pleasant view of the oval of the Liebesinsel.
