The person behind the café is Duy Hoang, who has brought a long-held dream to life with Tonkiner Café. Inspired by the idea of creating a distinctive Asian café with his own personal flair and original creations, Duy set out to offer something truly new to the city of Nuremberg – a space that invites people to relax, enjoy, and feel at home.

The location was chosen with care: centrally situated yet away from the hustle and bustle of the main pedestrian zone, Tonkiner Café in the Augustinerhof quarter provides a calm oasis in the heart of the city. The charm of the old sandstone walls and the perfectly sized interior immediately sparked a clear vision: to turn this space into a cozy café. That vision has now become a reality.
