Tourist Information at Craftsmen's Courtyard
Right at the entrance to the Old Town, in the nostalgic Handwerkerhof, your Nuremberg experience begins with a personal welcome. At the Tourist Information centre in the Handwerkerhof, you’ll not only find city maps and brochures, but you’ll also meet genuine Nuremberg experts who love their city and are happy to share their best tips with you.
Surrounded by Franconian charm, nestled amongst half-timbered houses and small workshops, the Tourist Information Centre is the perfect first stop if you’re keen to explore the Old Town. Whether you’re looking for sights, guided tours or personalised recommendations, the team on site will take the time to answer your questions. You can also easily pick up tickets for guided tours and sightseeing trips, find inspiration for your stay and buy souvenirs here.
The region’s culinary diversity – Regional Delis
In our gourmet corner, you’ll find some very special treats: selected culinary specialities that showcase Franconian diversity. These include Grischberli potato crisps, products made with Franconian haskap berries from the Decker organic farm, gin from the Gelbes Haus, and Franconian whisky from the Altstadthof microbrewery. During the summer months, you can also enjoy a delicious, refreshing ice cream sundae from the local ice cream maker ‘Eis im Glück’.
The Tourist Information Centre at the Handwerkerhof has opening hours that vary with the seasons.
