Visitors to the Nuremberg Christmas Market will not fail to notice: Rauschgoldengel are as much a part of the market as the bratwursts, gingerbread and Zwetschgenmännla. However, many people walk past the largest of their kind. Hardly anyone knows their names or even knows more about them. But it's definitely worth taking a look at the Christmas sky. After all, the three life-size tinsel angels Bärbel, Rosa and Kunigunde stand tall and majestic, hovering high above the heads of visitors, pointing the way to Nuremberg's famous Christmas market.
