Hotel Victoria

Embedded between tradition and modernity

The Hotel VICTORIA was built and opened in 1896 in a Nuremberg neo-Gothic style. A passion to be a great host has been dear to the heart of its owners for 125 years. For more than 100 years it has been in the hands of one family.

In great location, at the gate to the Old Town, the architecture captivates with its mix of traditional and modern: From the reception area to the stair railings to every individual room. Everything is unique, the interior design well thought out and each category of rooms has its own motto.

Its one-of-a-kind art concept deserves special mention: Nuremberg is always in focus. The walls are decorated with original pictures, paintings or wall papers from Nuremberg artists, to which the team has a personal tie.

The advantages to its location next to the Craftsmen’s Courtyard should not be disregarded. If you stay in a room in the right direction, you can not only enjoy the fantastic view over the city wall to the main train station, but also experience the scent of freshly grilled sausages. They are, of course, original Nuremberg bratwurst – and draw you to the happenings in the Craftsmen’s Courtyard. Above all, in winter the courtyard has a special charm and features a small Christmas Market, which invites you to sample a mug of mulled wine.

Focus on regional & certified organic products

Hotel VICTORIA offers its guests a comprehensive spectrum of wellness oases, ideas for activities and – to top it off – a healthy, diverse breakfast buffet. And the best: Not only hotel guests are welcome! If you are a Nuremberg local who enjoys breakfast, you can reserve yourself a table! When the weather is good, you can dine on the Klarissenplatz in front of the backdrop of the Neues Museums, one of the most beautiful squares in Nuremberg.

Sabine Powels

The great-granddaughter of Josef Schuler, who brought the hotel into the family in 1920, has been responsible for the institution since 1996. Thanks to her, the hotel shines in a new splendor today.
