The whole thing is divided into an IXPO and a test space. Here, companies can book space or stands and present themselves and their products. Above all, it’s about testing ideas and technologies in an early stage and to let feedback from users flow into the development process. “It’s always exciting to see how many different points of view there are and the type of valuable input visitors give!” says Sophie Bauer, who is responsible for marketing and event management in JOSEPHS.

Which exhibits are available

There’s no admission charge. Everyone is welcome – young and old, without a reservation.

Not only very interesting and educational, but also really entertaining! This is confirmed by the eight-year-old Paul, who meets us grinning at one of the stands: “This is the coolest place in town!”

What’s special about the Augustinerhof

With the move from their previous, somewhat hidden location in the Karl-Grillenberger-Straße to the Augustinerstraße, one saw a clear upswing in the number of visitors. The innovation laboratory fits perfectly into the new, modern quarter of the Augustinerhof. “This is the ideal place for us to reach people!” confirms Sophie Bauer. With the Museum of the Future as a neighbor, there is a wonderful synergy with a lot of potential. Whereas in the museum, divided into five themed areas (Work & Daily Life, Mind & Body, System Earth, System City, Time & Space), the future of technology and science is presented, in JOSPEHS you have the possibility to shape something new with your own input.

”The best way to predict the future is to create it yourself.”

- Abraham Lincoln.

In the lower level, there are extra meeting rooms – outfitted with the most modern conference technology of course. These are not only used for workshops but can also be rented by companies or private individuals. The fact that you can write on any wall makes the sky the limit for creativity.
