Since April 2022, Nuremberg has been enriched with another museum: The Bible Museum in the newly designed parish center of St. Lawrence. The permanent exhibit spreads over 450-square-meters of space, divided between six areas which give a glimpse of the history of the Bible and offer diverse perspectives on the Bible as a cultural asset. Special exhibits on various subjects enhance the permanent exhibit. With a special tour, you can explore the museum accompanied by an expert.
The Bible Museum is supported by the Bibelzentrum Bayern, which seeks to ensure that Holy Scripture continues to be recognized as a basis of our Christian culture and is disseminated today and in the future.
