KOKORO

Means heart in Japanese

… and those who have had the pleasure, already know that the name for the restaurant on Klarissenplatz is a perfect fit. Fresh and lovingly prepared dishes based on traditional Japanese cooking with modern influences – KOKORO has been true to this philosophy since it opened in January 2015.

With Sushi, Izakaya Tapas and a selection of hot dishes, KOKORO brings modern Japanese cuisine to the heart of Nuremberg!

Not just because of its location – partially hidden next to the Neues Museum but just a step or two from the Königsstraße –KOKORO is like an oasis of calm in the city. The interior  was designed in a modern, timeless and sophisticated style, in which one feels immediately at home.

Tip: When the weather is good, enjoy a drink on the spacious terrace – feels like a vacation!

KOKORO is very popular with people from Nuremberg and it’s become a hot tip on the international scene. Singer Pharell Williams has already visited it five times and the respected Gault&Millau Guide has named the Nuremberg restaurant one of the 70 best “Pop Addresses” in Germany in 2019.
